Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GolfCartCompass (the “Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service solely for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You shall not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its systems, or other users’ accounts. Any use that interferes with the operation or security of the Service is strictly prohibited.
User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or share through the Service (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant GolfCartCompass a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute such content in connection with operating and improving the Service.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
Subscriptions & Billing
Certain features of the Service are available through a paid subscription (“Pro”). Subscriptions are processed and billed through your applicable app store provider. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the app store to charge your account in accordance with its terms.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. GolfCartCompass does not control billing and does not have access to your payment information.
Location & Navigation Disclaimer
The Service provides navigation and route information for convenience only. Routes may include sidewalks, trails, private paths, or other non-standard travel areas. GolfCartCompass does not verify the legality, safety, or accessibility of any route.
You are solely responsible for your conduct, safety, and compliance with all applicable laws and local regulations while using the Service. You agree to use independent judgment and exercise caution at all times.
No Warranty
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
GolfCartCompass does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any information provided will be accurate or reliable.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GolfCartCompass and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GolfCartCompass, its affiliates, and its personnel from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
No Guarantee of Route Safety
GolfCartCompass makes no representations or warranties regarding the safety, legality, or accessibility of any route. Conditions may change without notice due to construction, closures, or local restrictions. You assume all risks associated with following any route provided through the Service.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
Termination
GolfCartCompass reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct deemed harmful to the Service or its users.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and applicable state law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
